FANCAST: TNT's Titans

Titans Fan-Casting and Why

*DISCLAIMER: This Titans fan-cast is not for the entire series, this is for the first lineup of the team, it all depends on things like if they chose, for example,  Aqualad I or Aqualad II, if they chose Aqualad I, then Aqualad II should be cast younger to show up in a later season, the same applies to many characters, these castings are only if they appear in the shows first 1-4(ish) seasons assuming, as always, it has the potential to go to 10.* This is also assuming TITANS takes place PAST the "Teen" years at into early-mid 20's

Nightwing, Raven, Starfire

Steven R. McQueen as Nightwing: Age: 26 Height: 6'0"
One of these more popular choices, but one I have to agree with, not only does McQueen want to play Nightwing as much as Channing Tatum wanted to play Gambit, but in this case McQueen seems to already be Nightwing. His looks are ideal compared to those of an older Dick Grayson, he is 6'0", enough to assert a dominant presence seeing that he has no powers, and he is pretty big. On top of all of this, we know McQueen can pull off the Dick Grayson attitude seeing as, to some degree, it is who he is in real life (watch interviews etc.) but also to that same degree, it is his character Jeremy Gilbert from The Vampire Diaries.

Appearance Level: Very Likely and Frequent

Elizabeth Gilles as Raven: Age: 21 Height: 5'7"
Another semi-well known fan-casting option I would agree with is Elizabeth Gilles as Raven. Her overall look is that of someone who is gothic and dark, but to some degree still has a heart. Yes, we can have Raven be a brooding side character, but Teen Titans did it best by allowing her scenes and times where the audience could clearly see she had a heart. As for her age, she is currently 21 which actually works, if you spread the age of the right characters just enough, you can allow (if the show is a hit and keeps going) to have multiple incarnations of the team ala Young Justice, whilst still keeping some of the older characters on as mentors.

Appearance Level: Very Likely and Frequent

Ashley Bensen as Starfire: Age: 24 Height: 5'3"
Many fans are split as to what kind of Starfire they hope to see on the big/small screen...do they want the overly sexualized version, or the version delivered to us in Teen Titans? Ashley Benson seems to fit the blend perfectly, not only is she beautiful, she also is innocent looking enough to not seem overly sexualized in an intrusive manor. Having her be slightly shorter than other characters also works to the shows advantage two-fold, the first, unlike Supergirl she isn't comparatively restricted by the height of her cousin, Superman, to actually look a certain way (something that can be elaborated more-so if needed), and again unlike Supergirl she is the only prominent Tamaranian, and therefore isn't restricted in that regard. The second reason is that she doesn't need to be quiet as large considering her power-set, casting isn't a science, and 1-2.5 inches being added by camera shots etc... is a given (anything more than that is just idiotic), but again considering her full range of powers an intimidating height really isn't something that is needed.

Appearance Level: Very Likely and Frequent

Rocket, Aqualad, Beast Boy (1 & 2)

Vanessa Morgan as Rocket: Age: 22 Height: 5'3"
Rocket isn't a hugely well known character, but Young Justice, gave her some new ground, and allowed her to develop into a decently built character with a semi-prominant love story. Seeing as we KNOW that there will be some form of "love-story" behind Titans, having it be two less prominent characters, Rocket and Mal Duncan, seems to make sense. That aside, Morgan suits the role and defiantly has the acting talent to do so.

Appearance Level: Could Happen and Infrequent

Logan Henderson as Aqualad: Age: 25 Height: 5'9"
Much like inevitable Momoa's casting as Aquaman, Logan Henderson is of the same degree (to some degree...). The reason behind Momoa's casting is...lets face it....the dude looks like a bada**. Yes, we could cast someone really small and meek with the body of a swimmer to play Aqualad, or we could cast Logan Henderson. Henderson is a relatively talented actor, who isn't enormous as he doesn't have to be, nor is he small and meek, he is the ideal balance. On top of this he nails the look of Tempest to a tee :D.

Appearance Level: Depends on Choice of Aqualad and Frequent

Cameron Boyce as Beast Boy: Age: 15 Height: 5'3"
Cameron Boyce as Beast Boy?!?!? This is one of the only "what if" castings on this list. As I mentioned earlier, ranging the age of some of the characters to perpetuate multiple teams over 10 seasons, then casting a Beast Boy ala Young Justice. By making Gar Logan so much younger, we can even have him begin as a side character prior to actually becoming Beast Boy.

Appearance Level: Likely and Frequent

Dylan O'Brien as Beast Boy: Age: 23 Height: 5'11"
Now, this is the casting choice that would make more sense if we wanted a consistently older team throughout, rather than having Beast Boy be literally immature by having him be the youngest, by far, of the team; we can have Beast Boy just be an immature young-adult. O'Brien can defiantly pull of the role of "clown" without completely over-doing it, which is key to playing an immature young-adult.

Appearance Level: Likely and Frequent

Batgirl, Bumblebee, KF?

Jane Levy as Batgirl: Age: 24 Height: 5'2"
Jane Levy has proven she is a good actress, although height wise she is a little short, are likelihood of appearing is slim and if she did it would most likely be an infrequent role, therefore things to that degree do have less significance.

Appearance Level: Could Happen and Infrequent

Keke Palmer as Bumblebee: Age: 22 Height: 5'6"
Keke Palmer, much like Levy has proven that she is a worthy actor, again seeing as the character Bumblebee's chances of appearing are slim, her development doesn't need to be quite as in-depth as others.

Appearance Level: Could Happen and Infrequent

Unknown as Kid Flash: Age: Height:
The casting of Kid Flash is separated three ways, two times, so I have chosen not to include it.
The casting is split by:
1) Connected to the Arrowverse if so, then KF needs to be younger
2) Wally or Bart? It all depends, New 52 KF base? OR Pre New 52?
3) If Wally, preNew 52 OR postNew 52?

Appearance Level: Very Likely Especially if Connected with Arrowverse and Frequent

Blue Beetle III, Arsenal, Superboy, Aqualad II

Avan Jogia as Blue Beetle III: Age: 22 Height: 5'10"
Avan Jogia has proven his diversity as an actor by this point in his career, this casting is for a slightly older Jaime Reyes, but Jaime could easily be part of the below 20 part of the Titans.

Appearance Level: Could Happen and Frequent

Colton Haynes as Arsenal: Age: 26 Height: 5'9"
Do I have to explain?

Appearance Level: Very Likely Especially if Connected with Arrowverse and Frequent

Spencer Boldman as Superboy: Age: 22 Height: 6'2"
Spencer Boldman is a surprisingly good actor, he has proven he can be a diverse enough actor, and although he has yet to tap into an "anger fueled role",  he does have the talent to do so.

Appearance Level: Could Happen and Frequent

Titus Makin Jr as Aqualad II: Age: 25 Height: 5'11"
Titus Makin is also another very good young talented actor, this fan-cast for if they chose to use this version of Aqualad as a primary, whereas if he is a secondary character and Garth is the first Aqualad, then this version of the character would be younger.

Appearance Level: Depends on Choice of Aqualad and Frequent

Speedy II, Miss Martian, Wondergirl, Secret

Willa Holland as Artemis/Cheshire/Speedy II: Age: 23 Height: 5'5"
Willa Holland's character on Arrow seems to be heading in a Cheshire-like direction for season 3, but with all the hints dropped at her being a new incarnation of Mia Dearden, and the fact the Artemis is based of of Speedy II and Arrowette, it seems likely that her transition to hero is inevitable, so for now we will call Thea the amalgam of Cheshire/Artemis/Speedy II, although the Cheshire aspect could still change.

Appearance Level: Very Likely Especially if Connected with Arrowverse and Frequent

Molly C. Quinn as Miss Martian: Age: 20 Height: 5'4"
Castle, Castle, Castle has anyone watched how talented this girl is on that show? She has been at it for 6 years! Molly Quinn has proven more-so than anyone on this list that she is a good actress and has the ability to play the role of innocent and unknowing which would be a good balance between her in Kon's theoretical feelings of the same nature.

Appearance Level: Could Happen and Frequent

Claire Holt as Wonder Girl: Age: 26 Height: 5'7"
Claire Holt, another solid actress who brings some degree of attitude to each of her roles. This attitude can easily be applied and adapted to that of Wonder Girl, and would offset her from the rest of the team and even make her more preJustice League Wonder Woman-esk in the sense that she is unsure of the world yet thinks she is the best of the best heroes.

Appearance Level: Could Happen Depending on Choice of W.G. and Frequent

Annasophia Robb as Secret: Age: 20 Height: 5'0"
Considering Annasophia Robb may be taking a break from acting to attend college, and she is one of the best actresses on this list, having her in a minor role would be ideal. Secret's character has more depth then most simply due to backstory, and Robb could easily identity and resonate with that role in a few guest-spot episodes.

Appearance Level: Could Happen and Infrequent

Jericho, Donna Troy, Terra

Cayden Boyd as Jericho: Age: 20 Height: 6'0"
Boyd is another actor on this list, but unlike most on this list, he has relatively disappeared of the known radar. Boyd certainly brings size to a character associated with looking small and goofy, and considering Slade Wilson's role on Arrow, the inclusion of Joseph Wilson and the chemistry between Roy and him could be VERY interesting to see onscreen.

Appearance Level: Could Happen and Frequent

Jessica Lowndes as Donna Troy: Age: 25 Height: 5'4"
Jessica Lowndes is beautiful and a pretty solid actress to boot, much like some of the other fan-casts on this list, Donna Troy is a character that depends on what members of the Titans they chose to begin with, and assumedly who is added to the roster and eventually forms the new team.

Appearance Level: Could Happen Depending on Choice of W.G. and Frequent

Britt Robertson as Terra: Age: 24 Height: 5'3"
Another solid actress who would only be needed infrequently, with the Markov device being the driving plot behind Season 1 of Arrow, her introduction would also be a nice nod to what happened, and much like Jericho, Roy may have resentment towards Terra as well, which would help build Roy's character as less of a "team-player".

Appearance Level: Likely and Infrequent

Static, Mal Duncan

Trevor Jackson as Static: Age: 18 Height: 6'0"
Trevor Jackson hasn't been in much, but is a pretty well rounded actor nonetheless, bringing Static onto the show would be a nice nod, and is something most people have wanted to see for quiet a while. (A live action Static)

Appearance Level: Could Happen and Infrequent

Corbin Bleu as Mal Duncan: Age: 25 Height: 5'11"
Corbin Bleu has yet to really shake his Disney channel persona despite it having been years since he has actually been on the channel, playing the diverse character of Mal Duncan, and being a transition character like Beast Boy could be, either human to hero, or persona to persona, would be an interesting and easily doable role for Bleu, playing college sports-star to hero is defiantly in his range of acting and would be quiet interesting to watch on screen.

Appearance Level: Could Happen and Infrequent
